Without a battery pack, how long does parking mode last?

Without a battery pack, parking mode runs from your vehicle battery via the hardwire kit.
Dash cams include built-in battery protection and usually shut down around 12V to prevent draining your car battery.
Depending on battery condition and driving time, parking mode may last 1 minute, 30 minutes, or up to around 2 hours.
If parking protection matters to you — especially for hybrid vehicles — a battery pack is highly recommended.
